Scripture Thought Of The Day – April 29, 2017

“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.  “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.  “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  “So then, you will know them by their fruits. ”

– Matthew 7:17-20 (New American Standard Bible ©)

What kind of fruit do people see you producing from your life?  Believe me, it gets noticed!

Scripture Thought Of The Day – April 27, 2017

We don’t look for things that can be seen but for things that can’t be seen. Things that can be seen are only temporary. But things that can’t be seen last forever.

– 2 Corinthians 4:18 (GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995))

Don’t put so much focus on the physical things of this world that come and go like the wind wind but rather on spiritual things that are eternal.  Having fun is ok but bringing souls to God is better.

Scripture Thought Of The Day – April 25, 2017

“When you go to war in your own country against an enemy who is oppressing you, the trumpets will sound a fanfare. Then the LORD your God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies.

– Numbers 10:9 (GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995))

Blowing trumpets often represent praise to God in the Bible.  So before you have to enter into a big battle be sure to lift up a loud praise unto God for the victory!

Scripture Thought Of The Day – April 22, 2017

He has done this so that they would look for God, somehow reach for him, and find him. In fact, he is never far from any one of us.

– Acts 17:27 (GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995))

Did you ever play hide and seek as a child?  Well with that same determination, go and seek after God.   He wants you to find Him.  Once you start, it won’t be long before He reveals Himself to you.

Scripture Thought Of The Day – April 20, 2017

Pray in the Spirit in every situation. Use every kind of prayer and request there is. For the same reason be alert. Use every kind of effort and make every kind of request for all of God’s people.

– Ephesians 6:18 (GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995))

We are to be people of prayer.  And not just making requests for ourselves which is fine of course but we are to pray “in the Spirit” in everything we go through and also for your brothers and sisters in Christ.
