Not only does God’s protection surround His people but He blesses us with favor with man. Just as parent favors their own child above other kids, so does God favor His children among the heathen of this world.

When was the last time you just sang to God by yourself at home as if He was in the room with you. I got news for you. He really IS in the room with you! So go ahead and praise your Savior!!!

God has His own time table. Don’t get impatient and do something you’ll regret and get angry at God when it was YOU that went against the will of God because you couldn’t wait on Him.
We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so He endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought Him. Then He received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God.
Just because Jesus loved you that much He allowed Himself to go through the pain and torture of the crucifixion. And because of this love our eternal home is going to be in heaven and not that “other” place!
Do not reject the discipline of the LORD, my son, and do not resent His warning, because the LORD warns the one He loves, even as a father warns a son with whom he is pleased.
Just as children get angry at their parents when they don’t understand why they get disciplined so too do people become angry when going through difficult times. We don’t understand why we have to suffer sometimes but God will use every experience to mold you into the image He has for you.
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Men will eventually let you down but the Creator of the universe knows what’s best for you and will never let you down.

Your renewed spirit within you loves to spend time with God but your old flesh would rather do ANYTHING but that. Once you’re aware of that then you can force your old sinful nature to submit to the will of God and do what you’re supposed to do.
You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When you gave your life to Jesus He took the “old” you and put it on the cross. You are now to live by Christ’s resurrection power. Do not let that old you off the cross! Keep it there!
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Because Jesus came back to life from the dead we know that we also have re-newed life by that same resurrection power.
O God, You are my God. At dawn I search for You. My soul thirsts for You. My body longs for You in a dry, parched land where there is no water.
