The LORD says, “I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as My eyes watch over you. Don’t be stubborn like a horse or mule. They need a bit and bridle in their mouth to restrain them, or they will not come near you.”
We’ve got to be teachable. None of us knows it all…not even close. There’s things you don’t understand because there are other things you don’t know about. Let the Word of God transform your mind and don’t be stubborn about it! He knows better what’s good for you!
Have pity on me, O God. Have pity on me, because my soul takes refuge in you. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until destructive storms pass by.
Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? listen diligently to Me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. – Isaiah 55:2 (American King James Version)
Obviously we need certain material things to survive in the physical realm but in the same way only God and His Word can truly satisfy our soul.
And when in their distress they shall return to the Lord the God of Israel, and shall seek Him, they shall find Him. – 2 Chronicles 15:4 (Douay-Rheims Bible)
Don’t do like most people do and wait till things are going wrong before you call on God. He wants to be part of everything in our lives.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good. – Psalm 15:3 (English Revised Version)
“He sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. He knows if you’ve been bad or good so be good for goodness sake.” No folks we’re not talking about Santa Claus here. God is the only One Who sees all. There is nothing you do that can be hidden from Him.
He did this by erasing the charges that were brought against us by the written laws God had established. He took the charges away by nailing them to the cross.
When we come to the cross He takes our sins and puts them there never to be remembered again. The Blood of Jesus becomes the payment for the punishment we all deserved for our disobedience. Thank you Jesus!
The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me? – Psalm 118:6 (American King James Version)
Never let the fear of man stop you from working for God. He is with you to empower you and nothing will stop God from doing what He wants so go for it!
